“Dear Brave, Strong men. Here is your King speaking to you. Women please listen as well. This week Blackburn has known extreme weather. It was a very cold week with even a small typhoon. Luckily there were no casualties. I think about all the men who have damaged properties. I say to all men: please help your neighbour rebuild their damaged homes, stables, farms… . Women please be extra assistant to the men this week. Make wonderful meals for them, do the washing up, clean your houses and don’t complain to the men. They have had a hard week and next week will be though as well.

For next week I will ask all the men to gather at the pubs on Saturday. The big wrestle game between the northerner Gruut and the southerner Bomr will be broadcasted everywhere. After a hard week of rebuilding homes I think my strong, brave men can use some distraction.”
